We are looking for experienced, motivated, intelligent, results driven, energetic and capable of working under pressure senior sales professionals to lead our team as a Directors of Sales for Northern Europe.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The role comprises two strands: firstly direct sales responsibility for your own sales territory comprising region X and secondly overall management of the entire European sales directors team.
  • Hit Growth targets & execute the sales strategy defined within Northern Europe.
  • Lead our sales team in Europe, leading by example within your region and hitting targets while providing support to the team with specific opportunities and sales strategy.
  • Take responsibility for the entire sales cycle and have an understanding of maintaining a pipeline using a CRM system.
  • Build relationships with hotel CEOs and Commercial Directors of Hotel Chains in the region to generate new business.
  • Thought leadership in hospitality events in the region.
  • Engage with leads to help prospective clients learn more about the solution with the support of experienced Sales Engineers.
  • Close deals both self-generated and lead-nurtured.
  • Develop relationships with key players in the region within the hotel Softwares and distribution channels ecosystem.
  • Directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability.
  • Lead and coordinate the business development team responsible for the region.
  • Provide accurate and regular forecasts on the Europe market to the sales leadership team.
  • Interact with the product team, providing feedback to improve the solutions.
  • Work closely with the CX team to ensure successful onboarding and integration within the customer ecosystem of applications.
  • Represent the company as industry expert at webinars, conferences, events and trade shows.

Your Profile

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Hotel Industry and / or selling B2B / SaaS solutions to hotel chains.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development in a SaaS environment.
  • High performance business leadership skills with an exceptional aptitude for successfully driving ambitious business development activities.
  • History of over-performance in previous sales roles.
  • An extensive network of contacts in the hospitality industry (Independent hotels, hotel chains & hotel technology providers ecosystem).
  • English native-like (German and Spanish will be a plus).
  • Extraordinary communication skills, both written and oral.
  • An analytical mind-set and a creative spirit.
  • A can-do and agile attitude necessary to thrive in a fast-moving start-up environment and capable of working under pressure.
  • Availability to travel.
